The work scope is based on transformer type, switchgear, protection equipment and operating conditions. Prior test and event records are compared with new findings where available.

Fault diagnosis and repair

Protection trips, unusual temperature, oil leaks and voltage problems are investigated using event history, visual checks and appropriate electrical tests before repair or re-energization.

Measurement and reporting

Turns ratio, winding resistance and insulation tests answer different technical questions. Results are interpreted alongside nameplate values, ambient conditions and past reports.
