Fault diagnosis and repair

Protection trips, unusual temperature, oil leaks and voltage problems are investigated using event history, visual checks and appropriate electrical tests before repair or re-energization.

Turns ratio, winding resistance and insulation tests answer different technical questions. Results are interpreted alongside nameplate values, ambient conditions and past reports.
